Cookie Policy

The short version

Relevnt uses only what it needs to work. We set no advertising cookies and run no tracking pixels. We count visits to our public pages without cookies and without storing anything that identifies you.

What we store

A session cookie from our authentication provider, so you stay logged in. Strictly necessary; removing it logs you out.

Two small values in your browser's local storage: your light/dark theme choice and your language choice. They never leave your device.

Visit counts

On the public pages (the website, the careers and job pages, sign-up) we count visits in two ways. Neither uses cookies or stores anything on your device. Our own count records which page was opened, the site that linked to it, the campaign tag in the link (for example ?src=newsletter), the country and the type of device. To tell one visit from another on the same day it keeps a short code made from your IP address and browser together with a random key that changes every day. The key of a past day is deleted, so the code cannot be traced back to you or linked across days, and your IP address itself is never stored. These counts are kept for 13 months. We also use Vercel Web Analytics, the analytics tool of our hosting provider, which records the same kind of information in the same anonymous way. The workspace you use after signing in is not counted, and neither is a browser that is signed in to Relevnt.

The public careers pages

A careers page hosted by Relevnt sets no cookies at all until a candidate submits an application, at which point only the strictly necessary request handling applies. Visits to it are counted in the cookieless way described above.

Control

You can clear these at any time in your browser settings. Because we set nothing beyond what is strictly necessary, we do not show a consent banner.
